State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 45-year-old Lansford man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 5:50 p.m. April 5.

He was stopped in a 2006 Suzuki for numerous traffic violations in the area of the industrial complex in Nesquehoning.

Police said he was taken into custody and taken for a chemical test of his blood.

• A 46-year-old Lehighton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 5:11 p.m. April 3.

He was stopped in a 2004 Toyota for numerous traffic violations on East Bridge Street, Lehighton.

Police said he was taken into custody and taken for a chemical test of his blood.

• Police responded to a criminal mischief incident at 5:10 p.m. April 17 on Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township.

The resident reported damage to his fishing boat, police said.

• A 51-year-old Stroudsburg man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 9:26 p.m. April 4.

He was stopped in a 2007 Nissan Altima for traffic violations on South Pine Street, Summit Hill.

• Police responded to a harassment by communications complaint at 11:37 a.m. April 15 on White Street, Bowmanstown.

They said a 34-year-old Slatington woman told them the suspect did not want their relationship to end and continued to communicate with her after being asked to stop.

• Police arrested roommates — a 49-year-old woman and a 59-year-old woman, both from Palmerton — after they were called to a disturbance at 12:14 p.m. April 17 on Oak Street, Bowmanstown.

Police said they were involved in an argument that turned physical when they shoved each other.

• A criminal mischief incident on Dylan Lane, Polk Township, was reported to police at 8:30 a.m. April 15.

A 39-year-old woman from Kunkletown told police that it was the second time in a week that her mailbox had been damaged.

• Police said a license from a motorcycle was lost or stolen between June 20 of last year and 11:56 a.m. April 8.

A 27-year-old man from Kunkletown reported the incident occurred on Twin Lake Drive, Polk Township.

• A 34-year-old man from Palmerton was cited for criminal trespass at 1:18 a.m. April 3 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Carbon Campus, Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township. Police said the man refused to leave the premises and was taken into custody.

• A 56-year-old Lansford man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 1:28 a.m. April 7.

He was stopped in a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 for numerous traffic violations on Route 248 in Parryville.

• Police said a 35-year-old woman from Harrisburg reported an assault-related incident at 1:42 a.m. March 26 on West Water Street, Lansford.

A 2013 Chrysler 200 was involved in the incident, police said.

• Police were summoned to a trespassing report but said the complaint was unfounded and no crime had been committed.

They said a 32-year-old woman from Nesquehoning reported the incident at 4:18 a.m. March 23 on Held Street in Franklin Township.
