The Monroe County commissioners approved the following items during their meeting on April 15:

• Equipment Maintenance Agreement with REMI from April 8 to Jan. 1, 2027, prorated amount of $411.91 for shredder in administrative center.

• Award bid for COOP/COG Plan in the amount of $55,913.04 to Chloeta Holdings LLC.

• The following allocations to be paid from Hotel Tax Funds: Pocono Latin Fest, $2,000; and Pins By Design LLC for Challenge Coin, $3,893. 86.

• Opioid Grants from the Opioid Settlement Funds — Memorandum of understanding and agreement with Path to Peace, $15,000 for housing assistance.

• Lease agreement with Quadient Leasing, $588.58 per month for the first 12 months and $638.50 for the next 48 months for a new digital mail machine.

• Advertise for sale surplus vehicles via GovDeals.com.

Commissioner John Christy added that the Community Night Celebration will be held on May 5 at Northampton Community College.

“We have well over 100 different vendors and organizations that are going to be there,” Christy said
