Mahoning Township supervisors took the following action recently:

• Agreed to purchase a truck body from EM Kutz in the amount of $52,550.

• Hired Paul Davis, Terry Everett and Darrell Luyeders as part-time winter road department workers. The current part-time winter CDL rate is $20 an hour.

• Tabled the police pension proposals, the Diaz land lease, the Mahoning Valley Fire Company license agreement, right of way agreement with PPL and a handicap parking sign request for 114 Jamestown St.

• Awarded bids for road materials to Lehigh Asphalt.

• Rejected bids for fuel, and agreed to re-advertise.
