The Panther Valley School Board last week approved:

• Writs of execution in Nesquehoning, seven; Lansford, 12; Coaldale, eight; and Summit Hill, three.

• Sponsorship of a $100 advertisement in the 2026 Panther Valley Sports Hall of Fame Program.

• The Pre-K Summer Kindergarten Program to run July 27 to July 31 from 8 a.m. to noon each day.

• A Technology Pool Agreement and the Technology Consultant Agreement with the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 for the 2026-27 school year.

• A two-year contract with ParentSquare SmartSites to develop, create and host the district website at a cost of $15,243. This is purchased through grant funding.

• First reading and revisions of policies on: Purchases Budgeted; Charter Schools; Transportation; Dress and Grooming, No. 221 and 325; Threat Assessment; Working Periods, District Audit.

• Second Reading and Revision of these policies: Exemption from Instruction; Extracurricular Activities, non-curriculum-related, Non-school Sponsored, Student Initiated Groups; District Social Media.

• Support of House Bill 41, which proposes the separation of boundary and non-boundary schools in the state tournament competition.
