Mobile cafe opens in Lehighton with coffee, tea and syrup

It’s a new coffee business on wheels conveniently situated on bustling Route 209 in Lehighton.

Reverie Mobile Cafe, at 101 N. Sgt. Stanley Hoffman Blvd., opened two weeks ago, according to founder/owner Danielle Stayton.

Stayton said her business specializes in specialty coffees, as well as non-coffees such as tea, herbal blends and homemade syrups.

The menu consists of regular, decaf and cold brew coffee; Espressos such as Doppio, Cappuccino, Americano, Latte and Mocha; teas such as Chai Latte, London Fog, Matcha Latte and hot tea; specialties like hot cocoa, white cocoa and golden latte; and iced beverages such as Doppio, Americano, Latte, Mocha, Espresso Tonic, Chai Latte, Matcha Latte, Iced Tea and Housemade Lemonade.

In addition, it features housemade syrup with flavors including simple, vanilla, maple, honey, seasonal, sugar free simple, sugar free vanilla and sugar free seasonal; along with sauces, milk options, assorted pastries and bottled beverages.

For Stayton, opening her own mobile cafe is something that’s been over 10 years in the making.

“I’ve gotten a lot of regular customers returning who say they love the homemade syrup,” Stayton said. “I do weekly and seasonal specials.”

Stayton added that her customers have commented on the convenience of the location and she believes Sgt. Stanley Hoffman Boulevard is the ideal fit.

“This was always the plan; the mobile cafe aspect for the convenience of it,” she said. “This was always the vision; I love it, and to serve my community.”

Stayton, who works alone, described what patrons can expect when they experience her mobile cafe.

“Good quality coffee at affordable prices, and the mobile aspect to really help with that,” she said. “I want to remain here and serving my community, getting to know the people.”

Stayton, of Jim Thorpe, said she’s noticed a trend in the early going.

“It’s more of the local community,” she said. “It’s the same people who return every day.”

Stayton said coffee has always been a passion of hers from her days growing up in New York, where she got a job at a Starbucks.

“And I just fell in love with (the concept of) people being really connected with each other,” she said. “Coffee is the connection with how to connect to each other.”

Reverie Mobile Cafe is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
