An American Red Cross Bloodmobile visit to Jim Thorpe’s Memorial Park yesterday netted 103 pints of blood.

Mrs. Charles D. Neast, R.N., served as project coordinator for the visit, while William J. was the recruitment chairman.

Kenneth Ocker, a member of the Jim Thorpe Police Department, was singled out for special commendation as he became an 8-gallon donor.

A 3-gallon pin was presented to Wayne Jarret, while receiving 2-gallon pins were Ethel Nalesnik, Richard Strubinger, Judy Nederostek and Thomas Lager. One-gallon pins were presented to Patrice Stidham, Allen Steigerwalt Jr. and Joan Wildoner.
