St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 215 N. Warren St., Orwigsburg, has a host of activities to celebrate Earth Day.

On Friday, master birder Dave Kruel, a member of the Schuylkill County Conservancy, will lead a bird walk. Folks should arrive at St. Paul’s at 5:30 p.m. and the walk will begin at 6 p.m. from the Zimmerman’s Mountain Woods home. Directions to the site will be provided at the church. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

On Saturday, an Orwigsburg Nature Walk will be held from the church. Attendees should arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. The walk led by Porcupine Pat McKinney of the Schuylkill County Conservancy departs at 9 a.m.

At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, “The Extraordinary Caterpillar” will be shown from Reidler Hall at the church. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

All events are free and open to all ages.
