A Lansford woman faces drug charges after searches last year turned up methamphetamine, other drugs and paraphernalia.
Nicole Canzoneri, 46, of West Ridge Street, was arraigned by District Judge Beth Dodson last week on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, intentional possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was released on $50,000 unsecured bail and preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled Wednesday.
According to court papers, Carbon County detectives learned Canzoneri was dealing drugs from her apartment from cooperating subjective during an interview on a drug investigation follow up at the county prison in April 2025.
Detectives pulled trash from in front of Canzoneri’s apartment on three occasions finding packing materials and methamphetamine, court papers said.
A search warrant was executed at 124 W. Ridge St., Lansford, Apt. 2, on May 2, 2025, and several bags of methamphetamine was found along with mushrooms, marijuana and pills, court papers said.
Scales, packing materials and related items were also found.
Canzoneri told detectives that she was selling drugs to help with her personal use and offset her income, and use her cellphone to set up drug transactions, exchanging drugs for money, court papers said.
