Lehighton builder wins regional award
Micah J. Hessinger, owner of Estimating Systems LLC, 85 William Penn Road, Lehighton, takes pride in his work, constructing special buildings for his clients. As a dealer of Lester Building Systems, he has had the chance to build some unique structures.
One such building was built in Nazareth for Phil Stofanak, the retired president of P.J. Stofanak Custom Millwork of Bethlehem. It was built to accommodate Stofanak’s antique car collection.
Because of that building, Hessinger was presented with the Award of Excellence at the Lester Building Systems 2026 Regional Dealer Sales Summit in Coxsackie, New York, on March 2.
“The award I received is an award that Lester Building Systems gives out to their network of builders for projects of distinction,” Hessinger explained. “Any builder can submit for the award. They look for unique buildings and clients.
“This award was huge to me personally. We’ve been a Lester Builder for five years now and we’ve done a handful of them and supplied a lot of component materials for others. But this project was really special for us, and it was an honor to be recognized. And one additional plus, we are featured on the Lester Building’s website.”
“We had a great team to work with,” he continued. “RC Construction Associates from Nazareth, Pa., provided the erection of the building and the concrete slab and foundations. Jeff Daney, the owner and president of RC Construction is also my business partner in Northeast Construction Management (the company that actually acted as the general contractor on the project.)
“Keystone Engineering provided the layout and surveying services. Joe Berger, of Joe Berger Excavating of Palmerton, provided the excavation and site prep. S&G Asphalt provided the paving work. CJD Electric, of Saylorsburg, provided the electrical work, and Hendershot Door from Nazareth provided the overhead doors.”
Hessinger’s company, Estimating Systems, is the area dealer, supplier and erector for Lester Building Systems, a manufacturer of premier post frame buildings. His territory extends from the Jersey shore to Harrisburg and from the Maryland state line to the New York state line.
Micah and his wife, Jillian, and their daughter, Lydia, live in Lehighton.
