State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 55-year-old Delano man is the victim of a criminal mischief incident that police investigated.

The incident occurred at 4:03 p.m. on March 25 on Hazel Street in Delano Township.

The man told police the trunk area of his 2024 Honda Civic had been damaged. He was unsure where the car would have sustained “three dings,” according to police.

• Daniel Barnes, 43, of Middleport, is facing charges of receiving stolen property after police responded to a recovered stolen vehicle report at 1 p.m. on March 19 on Pleasant Valley Road, East Brunswick Township.

Police said upon arrival it was determined a 2013 Kia Sorento at the site was listed as being stolen. They said the man who parked the vehicle arrived at their barracks and admitted to having driven the stolen vehicle to the property.

• Police responded to the State Correctional Institute at Frackville on Altamont Boulevard in Ryan Township at 6:51 a.m. on Feb. 15 to investigate a harassment by physical contact incident.

They said troopers received a report of harassment from a 23-year-old man from La Belle, in accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act.
