April 4, 2011 — Northwestern rallies from an early deficit to gain a 6-5 Colonial League softball victory over Palmerton. After the Tigers fall behind 3-0 in the first inning, Brook Heller’s singles drives in both Lauren Horner and Blaise Barron to close the gap. Northwestern ties the game on an error before Tori Papp puts the Tigers on top with an RBI double. Nicole Metzger drives in another run for the winners, coached by Jen Horner. Papp finishes with three hits, two of them doubles, while the Bombers receive a 4-for-4 effort from Michelle Rickert.
