The Bears’ baseball team scores six runs in the first inning and rides the pitching of Mike Borger to a 7-2 victory. Lance Lobone delivers a key triple for PV, while Bob Monahan adds a double. Borger pitches six strong innings, allowing just three hits. In the softball game, Erin Healy strikes out 13 and tosses a four-hitter to lead Pleasant Valley to a 3-1 triumph. Danielle Donoghue connects for an RBI double for the winners.
