Wildlands Conservancy announces the following events:

• Summer Camp 2026 from June 8 through Aug. 21 at the Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus. The camp offers 11 weeks of programming focused on environmental education, outdoor exploration and nature-based activities. More information and registration are available at wildlandspa.org/camp. • PreK Pathfinders: Bunny Tales from 10-11 a.m. April 7 at the Trexler Nature Preserve Environmental Education Center, 4935 Orchard Road, Schnecksville. The program is for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers and will include learning about rabbits, an egg hunt and a craft activity. • Get Out! For Wellness: Nockamixon State Park from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 11 at the Elephant Trailhead at Lake Nockamixon State Park, Elephant Road, Perkasie. Participants will hike the mostly level 4-mile Elephant Trail along the lake shore, with options to shorten the route. • Beginner’s Guide to Camping from 1-3 p.m. April 12 at Wy-Hit-Tuk Park, 510 PA-611, Williams Township. The daytime program will cover basic camping skills including pitching a tent and building a safe campfire. • Fire on the Landscape: A Barrens Habitat Eco Tour from 10.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 17 at Maple Tract Preserve with Pocono Outdoor Adventure Tours, 1234 Long Pond Road, Long Pond. The tour will focus on the use of prescribed fire in restoring and maintaining barrens habitat and will be led by Carl Martin, director of property stewardship. • Tree ID Hike from 10 a.m. to noon April 19 at Franko Park, 1339 Black River Road, Allentown. The guided hike, led in partnership with Andrew Conboy of the Community Canopy Project, will cover identification of native tree species along a route of up to 1.5 miles. • PreK Pathfinders: Habitat Heroes from 10 to 11 a.m. April 23 at Wayne A. Grube Park, 1200 Willowbrook Road, Northampton. The program is for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers and will include a story walk, wildlife ambassador encounters and a Habitat Hero badge. • Spring Peeper Sound Study from 6:30-8 p.m. April 24 at South Mountain Preserve at the Boroline Park/Alpine Street entrance, 554 Alpine St., Emmaus. The family-friendly sunset hike will focus on listening for spring peepers and observing salamanders and other signs of spring. • Bloodroot Trail Challenge from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 at South Mountain Preserve at the Boroline Park/Alpine Street entrance, 554 Alpine St., Emmaus. Participants may hike, bike or run on their own or join a guided group hike as part of an Earth Day celebration.
