• John Berchtold, 74, of Lehighton, was injured after a one-vehicle crash at 7:12 p.m. March 10 on Blakeslee Boulevard Drive (Route 443) in Mahoning Township.
Police said he was transported by personnel from the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.
Police said he was driving a 2020 Toyota Sienna when he experienced a medical emergency and the minivan traveled onto the right shoulder of the road and hit a utility pole.
The Sienna was towed from the scene.
• Dewayne J. Dixon, 50, of Saylorsburg, was injured after a two-vehicle crash at 8:48 a.m. March 25 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.
Police said he was transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.
They said the crash occurred as Joseph W. Norton, 35, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2018 Nissan NV200 north when he failed to react to slowing traffic ahead of his van, causing it to strike the back of a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE driven by Dixon.
Police said the Nissan had disabling damage, while the Mercedes had minor damage. Both were towed from the scene.
Dixon was cited for following too closely, according to police.
