A Schuylkill County judge found a Coaldale man guilty of driving under the influence of drugs.

Judge Christopher Hobbs on March 24 found Felix A. Baez, 31, guilty of three counts of driving under the influence of drugs and one count of driving on roadways lanes for traffic.

Hobbs found him not guilty of driving on the right side of the roadway and careless driving.

Hobbs ordered a presentence investigation ovation, and Baez remains free on bail until his sentencing on a date yet to be determined.

Baez was charged by Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan S. McHugh of the Frackville barracks in Tamaqua on April 11, 2025.
