The Woman’s Club of Slatington is pleased to announce that Northern Lehigh High School senior Emma Heil of Slatington has been chosen as their Girl of the Month for April.

Emma is the daughter of Kevin and Susan Heil; and has a sister named Jillian.

She has been a student council member for 4 years serving as secretary as a junior and vice president her senior year.

She is a member of National Honor Society for 3 years and serves as copresident her senior year. She is also a member of SADD, Leo Lions, Patriot Club and German Club throughout her high school years. Emma ran Varsity cross country for 4 years and was a state qualifier two times. She also ran Varsity track and field for 4 years and qualified for states once. She holds the school record in the 4x8 Relay as of 2024.

Emma received the Girls Cross Country MVP Award four years in a row. Outside of school she enjoys reading, painting and drawing.

Emma’s future plans include attending a four-year university to major in interior architecture/design.
