State police at the Pocono barracks reported a crash on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

A 2008 Pontiac G8 that struck a rock that had rolled into the southbound lanes of the turnpike sustained disabling damages at 8:40 a.m. on March 26.

Police said it happened at mile marker 72.7 in East Penn Township.

The driver of the vehicle, Brian J. Kostik, 50, of Wyoming, PA, was uninjured in the mishap.
