The Concourse Club will hold its annual Basket Spectacular this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Aquashicola Fire Company, 270 Little Gap Road, Palmerton.

The club, known for its wide variety of spectacular baskets all exceeding the minimum value of $35, will have over 50 baskets at the event.

In addition to the baskets there will be a 50/50 drawing, popular home baked goods available at the bake sale, and the kitchen will be open for dine-in or take out fare featuring barbecue, hot dogs, haluski, and more.

An assortment of soups will be available for takeout purchase only.

The proceeds from the annual event are donated back to the community through donations made to other nonprofit groups.

“Supporting this community is important to our members. The women are very proud of this event,” said event chair Marci Lesko, “This event is our club’s largest fundraiser, and we strive each year to make it more successful than the last.”

Each ticket purchased offers 25 chances to win, as well as a chance at the $200 “Bunny Bucks” door prize. Tickets will be available at the door.

This year there will be the opportunity for the public to purchase tickets at the door using cash or Venmo. The Venmo option is good for ticket purchases only and will not be available for food, soup or baked good purchases.

The prize drawings will be held immediately following the closing of the event. You need not be present at the time of the drawing. All winners will be contacted by telephone with further instructions on where to pick up their basket.
