Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

Retirements

• Michael Hammond, special education teacher, Northern Lehigh High School, effective Feb. 20, after 21.5 years of service.

• Anthony Jordan, technology education teacher, Northern Lehigh High School and Northern Lehigh Middle School, effective the end of the working day of the 2025-2026 school year, after 24 years of service.

Appointments

• Samantha Molitoris, temporary professional employee, first grade teacher, Peters Elementary School, $58,150 (Step 1 Bachelors), effective March 11.

• Kelcey Sokol, temporary professional employee, third grade teacher, Slatington Elementary School, $68,375 (Step 1 Masters), effective Aug. 18.

• Rebecca Brogan, temporary professional employee, certified school nurse, Slatington Elementary School, $58,150 (Step 1 Bachelors on the 2025-2026 CBA salary schedule), effective March 12.

• Andrea Arnold, paraprofessional middle school, $17.99 an hour, 5.75 hours per day, effective March 2.

• Rachel Formichelli, paraprofessional Peters Elementary, $17.99 per hour, 5.75 hours per day, effective April 7.

Substitute

• Steven Andrews, substitute custodian, 2025-2026 school year.

Bus/van monitor

• Richard Hontz, bus/van monitor with Krise Transportation for transportation of Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2025-2026 school year.
