Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following financial matters on Monday:
• Appointed Alloy5 as architect of record for Northern Lehigh School District, and authorized the superintendent and/or board president to execute the necessary agreement.
• Purchase new directional signs throughout the district, at a cost of $15,905, to be funded through the 2026-27 buildings and grounds budget.
• Purchase hardware needed to upgrade the high school gym doors, at a cost of $11,570, to be funded through the 2025-26 buildings and grounds budget.
• Three-year contract with Transfinder (Samsara) for GPS hardware, to be funded from the transportation department’s regular operating budget.
• One-year agreement with Transfinder to provide GPS routing software and hardware support and upgrades for 2026, in the amount of $10,373, to be funded from the transportation department’s regular operating budget.
• Five-year HPE lease with an annual payment of $10,650, with a $1 buyout for the HPE controller upgrade, to be funded through the technology budget.
• Agreement with Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit No. 21 to continue the Student Driver Education Program, at no cost to the district, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
• Accepted the 2024-25 audit and management report for the single audit ending June 30.
