Northern Lehigh High School seniors now have a date to highlight.

Superintendent Dr. Matthew J. Link announced at Monday’s school board meeting that graduation will take place at 7 p.m. June 5 in Bulldog Stadium.

The rain dates are June 6 and 7.

The board also approved the following matters on Monday:

Curriculum and instruction

• Adoption and purchase of Innovamat Thinking Math for grades K-6 at a cost of $383,597, to be funded through NLSD assigned curriculum fund balance.

• Community Service for Children to operate the Head Start Preschool program at Peters Elementary School from Aug. 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, with the only obligation to the district being to provide one classroom.

• Authorized Spindle to provide substitute staffing services for interpreters, nurses and paraeducators.

• Intergovernmental agreement between the district and the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit No. 21 to provide special education services for the 2026-27 school year.

• Changes to the elementary handbook, middle school handbook and the high school handbook.

• Jamie Bigley, helping teacher, Samantha Molitoris, inductee, year 1 and year 2, $800 per year; Justin Fritz, helping teacher, Kelcey Sokol, inductee, year 1, $800 per year; and Tracy Hoffman, helping teacher, Rebecca Brogan, inductee, year 1 and year 2, $800 per year, in the Northern Lehigh School District Induction Program beginning in the 2025-26 school year.

• Resolution to identify official local school district holidays in accordance with Pennsylvania School Code Section 1502.

• Comprehensive Guidance Plan from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.

Conferences

• MaryJo King, Pennsylvania Association of Educational Office Professionals 2026 Spring Conference, April 15-17, Harrisburg, with cost of registration $375, lodging $231, mileage $144, and meals $100, for a total cost of about $850, to be funded through the superintendent’s budget.

• David Jones, School Resource Officers Supervisors and Management, July 27-29, Bangor, with cost of registration $400, mileage $161, and meals $200, for a total cost of about $761, to be funded through the police department budget.

Other

• Approved Director Mathias Green as Northern Lehigh School District trustee representative to Lehigh Carbon Community College for the term of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2032.
