Northern Lehigh’s Grady Newhard will continue his academic and football careers at Washington & Jefferson College. With Newhard at a recent signing ceremony at the high school were his mother Heather Newhard, brother Dawson Newhard and father Matt Newhard. Grady was a four-year starter on both offense and defense, and served as team captain during his senior season. He was also named the school’s Scholar Athlete. Over his high school career, he earned second-team and honorable mention All-League honors and received regional recognition with selections to the Morning Call All-Area Team, the Times News All-Star Team, and the Lehigh Valley Live All-Area Team. Grady is a member of the National Honor Society and has also competed in varsity wrestling and track and field.
