More than 1,000 customers in Mahoning Township lost power after a crash in front of the Times News building on Route 443.
One person was injured in the crash that occurred just after 7 p.m. Tuesday as the driver was traveling west on Route 443 and lost control entering the Times News property, snapping off a utility pole.
The vehicle came to rest on its side with the driver trapped inside.
Members of the Mahoning Valley Fire Company extricated the driver from the wreckage.
The driver was treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance and Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center.
State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
Power was restored Tuesday night after the crash.
