Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters this month:

Resignations

• Lori Middaugh, fifth grade teacher, Slatington Elementary School, will be retiring from the district after 20½ years of service.

• Dawn Tulio, licensed health room attendant, Northern Lehigh Middle School, will be retiring from the district after 27 years of service.

• Tricia Waylen, administrative assistant, Northern Lehigh Middle School, effective on or about Aug. 15 upon use of all earned vacation days. Waylen will be retiring from the district after 27 years of service.

• Jessica Schwenger, special education paraprofessional, Peters Elementary School, effective Feb. 6.

• Marielle Nathcia Kouao, special education paraprofessional, Northern Lehigh Middle School, effective Jan. 19.

• Kimberly Deprill, special education paraprofessional, Northern Lehigh Middle School, Jan. 23.

• Lexi Meckes, first grade teacher, Peters Elementary School, Feb. 18.

Administrative transfer

• Tracy Hoffman, from Slatington Elementary certified school nurse, high school certified school nurse, at no change in salary, effective March 23.

Substitutes

• Alexander Danielson, Diedre Hannan, Erica Koutch and Craig Millard, as substitute guest teachers for the 2025-26 school year at the 2025-26 substitute rate as approved on the Supplemental Personnel Salary Schedule. Guest teachers get paid $120 a day for the first 10 days, and then from day 11 on they receive $130.

• Tonya Lee, substitute cook’s helper, 2025-26 school year at the 2025-26 substitute rate as approved on the Supplemental Salary Schedule. Cook’s helpers are paid $13 per hour.

Salary adjustment

• Jenna Martin, teacher, has completed the requirements per the Collective Bargaining Agreement that would entitle her to a midyear salary increase for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year from Step 4B to Step 4B + 24.

Music department

• Marcell McKenzie, independent contractor, music choreography, $500, for the 2025-26 musical season.

Co-curricular volunteer

• Amanda Haag, volunteer, musical theater, 2025-26 school year.
