• Prison board appointments: Kahlee L. Evans of Effort, corrections officer; and Loudon M. Breiner of Lehighton, part-time corrections officer, both effective Feb. 16.

• Hire: Thomas J. Devitt of Nesquehoning, seasonal park maintenance, effective March 23; Kevin B. Mitchell of Lehighton, seasonal park ranger II, effective March 12; and Jordan N. Yuhas of Jim Thorpe, assistant chief assessor, tax assessment, effective Feb. 23.

• Court retirement: Carla J. Bartelt of Nesquehoning, office supervisor I, Lansford district justice office, effective June 5.

• Resignation: Katelynn R. Bear of Palmerton, probation officer I, adult probation, effective Feb. 18.
