The Weatherly and Marian girls both closed regular-season play with wins.
The Wreckers downed Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech on Wednesday, while the Fillies defeated Lincoln Leadership on Tuesday.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Weatherly-CMVT
Weatherly raced to an early lead and cruised to a 47-21 non-league victory over host Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech in its season finale.
Kelly Reiner scored nine of her 12 points in the first quarter as the Wreckers gained a 17-3 start.
Maci Kane finished with a game-high 13 points, including eight in a third quarter that sealed the win for Weatherly.
The Wreckers also received eight points from Alize Way-Heffner.

Lincoln LA-Marian
In what could very well be a district matchup, Marian pulled away from visiting Lincoln Leadership for a 52-35 victory on Tuesday.
Addy Marek scored 10 first-half points as the Fillies earned a seven-point halftime advantage.
Still up by seven entering the fourth quarter, DeAnna Pugh helped Marian secure the win by tallying eight points as the Fillies outscored the Lions 16-6.
Pugh finished with a game-high 19 points, while Marek ended with 15. Haley Minzola also contributed 10.

Francis Kownlonek and Ezra Quick both had nine points to lead the Spartans.
The Wreckers received 11 points from Carter Minnick, while MJ Ryan chipped in with six.
7TH GRADE
Weatherly-North Schuylkill
Weatherly dropped a 36-25 decision to North Schuylkill.
The Spartans were paced by Drew Wartman’s 12 points, while the Wreckers were led by Silas Zink’s nine points.
