Carbon County Veterans Affairs has announced two upcoming events. Registration for the events is required by calling 570-325-3986 or emailing cleclair@carboncounty.net.

• The next Vietnam Veteran Coffee and Camaraderie will be held at Narrow Valley Sportsplex in Nesquehoning at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 12. RSVP no later than Feb. 10. That allows for staff to make enough coffee for those attending.

• The National Vietnam War Veterans Day luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. on March 25 at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe. Tickets are required for entry; however, they are free for any U.S. armed forces personnel with active duty service between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975.

Each veterans may bring one guest. Both events are hosted through Together with Veterans NEPA and the county Veterans Affairs office.
