Palmerton borough workers are searching for a water main break that occurred around 7 a.m. in the area of First Street and Lafayette Avenue. Officials were alerted of water flowing on the roadway causing a hazardous driving condition. Borough Manager Autumn Canfield said crews were actively working on the situation and anticipate it will be fixed in the very near future.
