Schuylkill County’s prognosticating rodent, Grover the Groundhog, will make his prediction for winter at 9 a.m. Monday from the Sweet Arrow Lake County Park Clubhouse, 108 Clubhouse Road, Pine Grove.

It will mark the 20th year that the taxidermied groundhog will make a forecast.

Matthew Dodd will entertain with Groundhog Day stories, songs and history. His performance is through a grant from the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation. There will be a “groundhog” auction with many items.

The festivities are free.

Breakfast will be available for a fee beginning at 7:30 a.m.
