State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• Jordan A. Caprio, 19, of Lehighton, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed following a two-vehicle crash at 11:20 a.m. Jan. 18 on Sawmill Road, Mahoning Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2019 Honda Civic northbound when he lost control of it while negotiating a right curve on the snow-covered roadway and the car struck a 2017 GMC Acadia driven by Edward D. Zanders, 72, of Danbury, North Carolina.

Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.

• Justin C. Barclay, 48, of Lehighton, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 5:53 p.m. Jan. 21 at the intersection of Mahoning Mountain and Troxell roads in Mahoning Township. No one was hurt in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2001 Lexus that was involved in a crash with a 2017 Mazda that was driven by a 17-year-old girl from Lehighton.
