Work on the Brockton Mountain Drive bridge in Ryan Township was recently completed and the road has reopened. The bridge spans Locust Creek replaces a concrete bridge that was constructed in 1924. Work on the PennDOT project began in July. During construction, traffic was detoured. The 17.2 mile detour used routes 209 and 54, Catawissa Street/Tuscarora Mountain Drive, and the Morea and Burma roads. JILL WHALEN/TIMES NEWS
