December 31, 2015 — The Times News Sports Department announces its annual Football All-Star Team. Northwestern’s Harry Hall is named the Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for 1,651 yards and scoring 23 touchdowns. Lehighton’s Wyatt Clements, who also had an outstanding season offensively, is selected as the Defensive Player of the Year after making 132 tackles — including 14 for loss. Other players receiving honors at their position include Lehighton’s Tyler Cann (quarterback), Tegan Durishin (wide receiver) and Connor Frey (offensive lineman); Jim Thorpe’s Robbie Heller (running back) and Kevin Vitti (linebacker); Marian’s K.J. Snerr (defensive back); Northern Lehigh’s Cameron Kates (defensive lineman); and Palmerton’s Mike Stasko (specialist).
