Letter to the editor: Words and actions do matter
Republicans today have NO plans to help lower and middle class families, lower costs (as promised) or preserve judicial rights of all as stated in our constitution.
They spew lies about Democratic beliefs and consider name calling and degradation as their status “modus operandi.” Their hateful iditorials prove my point more continuously defaming past presidents who had more dignity and integrity than Trump can ever hope to have.
Words DO matter. Trump ignited the Jan. 6 insurrection, fueled the hatred of immigrants, people of color and the LGBTQ communities and resurrected revenge tactics against those brave enough to speak out against these inequalities. That’s not freedom. That’s fascism.
Democrats do not incite people to murder and riot. Most murders in this country that are of mass proportion are committed by white supremacists. Maybe tighter gun laws would help weapons of mass destruction out of the hands of the mentally ill and those with aggressive behavior tenderness.
Trump donated his yearly salary to charity? Hah! His tax cuts to the ultra rich, deals made with foreign leaders that line the pockets of his entire family and scams he’s involved in give him trifold that salary in kickbacks.
Real peacekeepers don’t end conflicts to prioritize their own money making agendas with countries on a quid-pro-quo basis. Real peace keepers do it to help humanity.
Vote blue and we can defeat want to be kings. We can and must defend our Constitution and our freedom which are being chipped away bit-by-bit, while the GOP hopes no one is watching.
As a Republican, you can help by voting our conscience to reinstate TRUTH, SANITY and JUSTICE.
