November 14, 1970 — Jack Garrett carries 15 times for 167 yards and three touchdowns to lead Panther Valley to a convincing 36-6 victory over host North Schuylkill. Garrett scores the Panthers’ first two TDs to help PV take a 14-6 halftime advantage. His first score — on a 23-yard run in the first quarter— comes three plays after Pete Radocha registers an interception on defense. Garrett reaches the end zone again in the second from 25 yards out and adds a third TD after the break when he scores on a 5-yard run on a fourth-down situation. The Panthers also receive a 29-yard scoring run from Dave Zonca, while Radocha breaks free for an 82-yard TD during the final quarter.
