The Salisbury girls soccer team had a difficult season in 2025. But the Falcons showed progress throughout the year and finished on a high note.
The team lost nine of its first 10 games but kept fighting and started to turn things around.
The Colonial League portion of the schedule ended with a 5-0 loss to Southern Lehigh, but the Falcons came back the following day in a nonleague game and shut out Oley Valley 1-0 to finish the season.
While the slow start prevented the Falcons from reaching the postseason, Salisbury finished its last six games with a 3-3-0 record to send it into the offseason with some confidence and something to look forward to next season.
This year’s team was young with as many freshman players on the roster as it had seniors. Graduation will take away six senior players – Amy Cadet, Samantha Conrad, Autumn Evans, Breelyn Hand, Kaitlyn Neuhs, and Madison Reis – but the younger players were able to gain valuable experience throughout the year, helping the team to finish strong.
