Tamaqua graduate Lexi Buchala is once again a member of the Penn State Altoona women’s swimming team, which has a 1-1 record this season.

Buchala, a sophomore, was part of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team during a 128-75 victory over McDaniel.

During the meet, the former Blue Raider also swam to a second place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:34.35 and a third in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:14.84.

In the team’s loss to Penn State Behrend, Buchala was third in both the 200 butterfly and 500 freestyle, and fourth in the 200 freestyle.
