The Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce is hosting a veterans breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 7 at Orwigsburg Veterans Memorial Hall, 300 Grove St., Orwigsburg.

All veterans, as well as anyone transporting a veteran who cannot drive themselves, are invited to attend free of charge.

Free transportation will be available to those in need.

The guest speaker will be Ryan P. Aument, who served Lancaster County in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, first as a state representative and later as a senator.

Aument is a graduate of the Citadel and a decorated veteran. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army and was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Registration is due by Monday. Cancellations made after Monday and no-shows will be invoiced.

Non-veterans will pay a fee for the event.
