NL School Board financial matters

Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following financial matters on Monday:

• 2025-2026 district salary schedule.

• Purchase a new intercom system for Peters Elementary School at a cost of $22,776 to be paid for by the building and grounds budget.

• Agreement with Fox Safety Preparedness Specialists LLC, to provide consulting and professional development services to the district for the 2025-2026 school year at a cost not to exceed $21,300, to be funded through PCCD Competitive Grant, School Police Department and building budgets.

• Contract with Rochester Midland Corporation at a cost of $16,980 for the 2025-2026 school year.

• Contract with Spotts, Stevens and McCoy at a cost of $9,210.

• Partnership donation of $12,500 received from St. Luke’s University Health Network and its transfer to the capital reserve fund, and further authorizes the transfer of $33,950 budgeted for the cost of athletic trainers built into the 2025-2026 school budget to be transferred to the capital reserve fund and all transferred funds to be used toward future district capital improvements.

• To release the $5,000 donation to the Slatington Public Library that is budgeted in the 2025-2026 school year.

• Addendum to the agreement with Portnoff Law Associates Ltd. to be the delinquent real estate tax collector for the 2025 tax year.

• Appointment of Statewide Tax Recovery as the delinquent per capita tax collector for the 2025 school year.
