Route 309 atop the Blue Mountain was closed Monday night due to a motor vehicle crash. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the northbound lanes just north of Gun Club Road, involving an armored truck and a jeep. Members of New Tripoli fire company worked to extricate the male driver of the Jeep which came to rest on its side.
