KU honors students

Local students are among 351 chosen by Kutztown University’s honors program in 2025-26.

The program provides high-achieving students with opportunities to engage in scholarship, leadership and service. The program for undergraduates is open to full-time students and is comprised of a minimum of 21 credits in honors courses, including a senior capstone project. The honors credits count toward the students’ minimum of 120 credits that are regularly required for graduation.

Honors students select specially designed courses, course-by-contracts, independent studies and internships to earn honors credit. Students are also required to complete 30 hours of community service before graduation.
