A veteran Northern Lehigh School District director has been lauded for her continued service on the board.
Superintendent Dr. Matthew J. Link said that Gale Husack has been recognized by the Pennsylvania School Boards Association for 10 years of dedicated service.
“Congratulations on this milestone on behalf of the entire board,” Link said. “Thank you for your service and commitment to our students and community.”
Link presented Husack with a certificate from the PSBA.
Husack explained that she serves on the board “because of the students and the staff and our community.”
“I love what I do; sometimes it doesn’t feel good making certain decisions, and sometimes we have to look it as a whole, and I’m proud of this board for doing that and looking at it in a grand way,” Husack said. “Thank you for the honor, and (I’m) proud to continue to serve on the board.”
Board members thanked Husack for her service and told her that the recognition was well deserved.
