Calvary Lewistown

Pastor Debra Rogers will lead the 11 a.m. Sunday service for Calvary Evangelical Church at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle, Valley Road. She will speak on things about heaven from the Bible. Special music will be presented by Lindsay Schegan of Lewistown Valley.

Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. and the 6:30 p.m. evening service will have music, praise and word.

The Wednesday prayer group meets at 7 p.m.

The church invites all to start to prepare to attend the Lewistown Valley camp meeting, which will begin Aug. 24 and continue every night to and including all day Sunday, Aug. 31 and all day Labor Day, Sept. 1. Watch for concerts on the Labor Day weekend.

St. Peter’s - West Penn

The 9 a.m. Sunday worship service at St. Peter’s Church in West Penn will have the blessing of the backpacks. Adult Sunday School is at 10:15 a.m. and the Church Board meets at 10:30 a.m.

On Monday, a Meet the Teachers for preschool 3-year-olds will be held at 5:30 p.m. The event for preschool 4-year-olds will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Zion Church - Lewistown Valley

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday at Zion Church Lewistown Valley. Adult Sunday School is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
