The Tamaqua Ministerial Association and the Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship Network will present Summer Celebration at 6 p.m. Sunday at Trinity United Church of Christ, 22 Lafayette St., Tamaqua.

This year’s guest is Jeremy Goodling. a well-known Christian musician. Goodling has been traveling and singing at churches and events throughout Pennsylvania for more than 34 years. He sings a variety of Christian music including Southern Gospel, light contemporary, hymns and praise and worship.

In the past, Summer Celebration has hosted the praise band from Blue Mountain Community Church in Palmerton. Last year, Sing for American from Bethlehem performed “Godspell.”

The first Summer Celebration was held in August 2013 at the Tamaqua Train Station and featured local musicians and speakers.

A time of food and fellowship follows Goodling’s presentation. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome.

TAFFN is an informal organization of lay leaders from Tamaqua area congregations. The Tamaqua Ministerial Association meets monthly and invites all area clergy to share fellowship, information and support.
