Children’s Day will be returning to the 2025 Carbon County Fair, bringing an array of activities, performances and prizes.
Children’s day will be on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The Allentown Fair Queen and mascot are making a special visit to the fairgrounds, giving out goody bags to all kids at the queen tent. Leo the Lion and Buster the clown will also make an appearance, with free balloons and face painting.
First aid and CPR demonstrations will come from the Lehighton Ambulance Company, and a tennis demonstration from Valley Royale, Lehighton’s tennis club open to all.
Ryan Pelton, as Elvis will be taking the main stage at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Malinda Fox, president of the Carbon County Fair board, said they search for special experiences for children, including hands-on demonstrations.
Each kid at the fair will get a ticket to enter in a giveaway; the big prize is a free bicycle but other smaller prizes will be handed out.
At 7 p.m. in the arena, a Monster Truck Bash will be putting on a show filled with tricks, stunts and colorful trucks. Tickets for the show start at $10 for youngsters 3 and older, and $17.82 for adults and teens.
Ride wrist bands are just $20.
