Tamaqua Chamber has photo contest
The Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce once again wants to see what folks enjoy most about the area.
The Chamber has launched its “For the Love of Tamaqua” Photo Contest for 2025. The community-focused contest invites photographers of all ages and skill levels to capture the beauty, spirit and heart of Tamaqua through their lens.
Whether it’s a breathtaking landscape, a candid moment on a downtown street or a snapshot of a beloved local tradition, the Chamber want to see what you love about Tamaqua.
Photo submissions must be taken between September 2024 and Sept. 1, 2025.
Entries are due by Sept. 1 and must be submitted via the official online form at https://tamaqua.net/photo-contest-1
The first place winner will have their photo featured on the cover of the 2025 Tamaqua Community Progress book and will receive two free tickets to the Chamber’s annual dinner, along with a gift card. Second and third places also win gift cards.
All submissions will be featured in the Tamaqua Community Progress Book, a publication that celebrates the people, places and businesses that make Tamaqua home.
“The photo contest is one of our favorite ways to showcase how much love and pride our residents have for this community,” said Aimee Dotson, executive director of the Chamber.
“This contest is all about celebrating the heart and soul of our community. We’re inviting residents to show us what makes Tamaqua special through their own lens — whether it’s a hidden gem, a favorite event, or a simple moment of beauty. Every photo tells a story, and we can’t wait to share Tamaqua’s story through the eyes of those who love it most.”
