Brendan Edward Morgans, DO, of Nesquehoning, graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida, on June 8.
While at LECOM, Morgans continued his love of sports and community service by coaching a special needs youth soccer team associated with the TOPSoccer Program. The Outreach Program for Soccer is a community-based training program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional or physical disabilities.
He is currently doing his residency in emergency medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Morgans is a 2017 graduate of Panther Valley High School, where he was valedictorian.
He is also a 2021 graduate of Moravian College (now University), where he graduated summa cum laude. He was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, president of Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society, a member of the Greyhound football team and involved in Habitat for Humanity.
He is the son of Rick and Jacqui Morgans, and the grandson of Pete Morgans and the late Marie Morgans, and Ed and Carol Zickler.
Morgans
