Palmerton Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Approved pay request No. 1 based on KCE recommendation to Construction Master Services in the amount of $117,720 for Alley H&J Paving.

• Approved pay request No. 2 based on KCE recommendation to Construction Master Services in the amount of $26,887 for Alley H&J Paving.

• Approved a request from Lehighton Borough for fire police for assistance with the Lehighton Downtown Initiative fireworks on July 4.
