The Mauch Chunk Lake Park movie scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to predicted heavy thunderstorms. Additional movies are scheduled for July 26, Aug. 30 and Sept. 27.

Earlier this month the board of commissioners approved an agreement with Lehigh Valley Events and Productions LLC of Allentown to host four movies at the park. The cost is covered through funds received from the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau.

More information on the events, including when there is inclement weather, will be posted on the county’s Facebook pages. This is the second year the county is hosting movie nights at the park.
