State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following crashes that occurred on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• Craig A. Beil, 58, of Allentown, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:36 p.m. June 12 at the entrance ramp to Interstate 476 southbound in Franklin Township.
Police said he was transported by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.
Beil was operating a 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle too fast for wet roadway conditions when it slid to the left while attempting to negotiate a right curve in the ramp, police said. The cycle came to rest in the right lane. It was towed from the scene.
• Naijia T. Bell, 35, of Emmaus, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 6 p.m. June 18 at mile marker 81.8 in Penn Forest Township.
Police said she was operating a 2025 Lexus southbound and was traveling too fast for road conditions when it struck the concrete traffic barrier and a guide rail.
The vehicle had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
• Police were summoned to a hit-and-run crash at 12:54 p.m. June 19 at mile marker 70 in Washington Township.
They said a vehicle traveling in the left northbound lane swerved into the right lane and struck the driver’s side of a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Joshua A. Gourley, 37, of Mayport. He was uninjured.
