The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Bridging Pennsylvania Constructors announces scheduled rolling slowdowns on Interstate 80 for the Lehigh River Bridge Project.
The rolling slowdowns are anticipated to occur approximately two times per week to set beams adjacent to the existing I-80 eastbound bridge, through July 22 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will take place between mile markers 272.4 and 273.4.
These operations are weather dependent and may be adjusted based on work progress.
Motorists are advised to check www.511PA.com before traveling this section of I-80 for information when slowdowns are happening. Motorists are also advised to plan for possible delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
